Volunteers of Hitaishini attend regular breast cancer clinics at the following four major cancer hospitals in and around Kolkata - to offer medicinal, physical and emotional support to the patients.

By emotional counseling our volunteers offer positive energy to the sufferers of breast cancer to fight against the disease. Medicinal help is one of prime supports by Hitaishini to the poor patients. Volunteers teach post-operative exercises to avoid problem of frozen shoulder. Pneumatic Compression Devices are also used for lymphedema patients. Hitaishini tries to rehabilitate breast cancer patients back to normal life. Breast prostheses at a cost are also provided where necessary.
